"We began working with Lionel Russo in 2001. At the time, I was Marketing Director at Mars Chocolat France, and I later became Managing Director of Wrigley France. Lionel supported me on numerous projects over the years, including a very large-scale project: the complete redesign of the Mars Chocolat France headquarters.
At the time, I entrusted Lionel with this major project, which was very important for our group. The aim of this mission was to take the group's brands and translate them into an employee experience.
But also to create an industrial tour experience and manufacturing processes for the group's brands for visitors to the head office.
This redesign was rolled out both in the head office, covering approximately 1,800 m², and in the factory, covering approximately 10,000 m².
There were many significant constraints: it was an ambitious project for the group with a lot of pressure, a very large scope of work, the need for rapid action in both the offices and the factory, and strict safety standards in the factory (food products).
Lionel and I called this operation "Operation Commando"!
Four stages were implemented to ensure the understanding, implementation and success of this project:
Phase 1 - audit and comprehensive study to define and understand the challenges and constraints
Phase 2 - Design of the creative programme
Phase 3 - Feasibility study with all partners involved
Phase 4 - Definition of methods, organisation and planning of implementation requiring a high degree of precision and agility
For the record: the work to make this change in the offices was carried out over a full weekend so that all employees would discover the big change when they arrived on Monday morning!
A masterfully executed operation with a stunning, high-quality result.
The factory project was completed in 2013, followed by the head office in 2014.
Given the success of these projects, other projects were subsequently carried out and entrusted to Lionel: Haguenau in 2018, Paris in 20 (then Haguenau and Steinbourg again in 2024).
Throughout the project, Lionel proved to be a highly skilled project manager, a talented manager and an effective project leader. His proposals and advice were always relevant and highly effective.
The methods deployed were precise, well thought out and continuously improved. The results achieved are the fruit of careful consideration and strong expertise upstream. Efficiency, adherence to timelines and safety rules are issues that Lionel masters with great skill.
His recommendations were always clear, concise and meaningful, but above all, Lionel is an experienced and very conscientious mentor.
Despite the many technical, security and confidentiality constraints, Lionel's ability to complete each assignment within very tight deadlines is remarkable.
This project was a huge success for the company. It was praised by all the internal teams at the time.
Since then, I have frequently recommended Lionel and his agency for projects in the field of brand design and customer experience."
